My January GlossyBox arrived just a couple of days behind my BirchBox, I really wish they came at different times of the month to spread the joy rather than coming on almost the same day (they came on exactly the same day last month!)
Anyway, what’s in the box?
Unani ‘Dermo Defense Face Mask’, Full size worth £11.36
Unani are a Spanish family business brand and their ‘Dermo Defense’ range of products, including this one, are aimed at sensitive skin and putting back the skin’s protective acid mantle. The mask it’s self is a clear gel and contains aloe vera. It feels very cooling on the skin and has a gentle aloe scent.
Teeez Cosmetics ‘Oasis Gem’ Lipstick in shade ‘Coral Onyx’, Full size worth £11.93
A bright pop of satin-matte coral, goes on smoothly with no dragging unlike many matte lipsticks. The formula contains coconut oil to help keep your pout in good condition.
ANGELE Paris red nail enamel, Full size worth £6.32
Obviously I haven’t had time to wear this on my nails yet but I have swatched it. The polish is a lovely cherry red and should be evenly opaque in two coats as you would expect, I suspect it will not be great for stamping but I may give it a go anyway because you can’t always tell.
Madara ‘Cellular Repair Serum’, Luxury sample
Contains multiple botanicals including birch juice and red clover, lactic acid to increase skin turnover and the well known plumper hyalauronic acid. This is a very pale green serum with a very light ‘herby’ fragrance – a bit like a branch of Neal’s Yard but very much muted and barely there! Sinks into the skin quickly, definitely one I’l be trying out.
Glossybox Eyeshadow in ‘Glossy Mauve’
Yes, Glossybox had their own product produced! This shadow is a smoky mauve shade with a bit of shimmer. Very classy! I’ll be trying it out in a make-up very soon.
