My July Favourites!

Wow I can’t believe it’s the end of July already! Summer is just whizzing by – well what passes for it here in the UK anyway…
These are the products I’ve been reaching for the most recently, my July favourites:

July Favourites

Tarte; Showstopper face palette
This was part of a gift from my lovely Mum and I’ve really been enjoying using it. Almost everything you need to create a look is inside, a blush, a bronzer, a highlighter and 6 eye shadow pans in a mixture of finishes allowing you to take the look from day to night.

Tarte; Lights, Camera, Lashes + Bottom Lash mascara
Tarte MascaraAlso part of the gift set from my Mum this mascara could well be my holy grail mascara! I haven’t reached for either my Benefit They’re Real! or opened my new tube of No7 since I got this! I’ve used it every single day, it’s even starting to look a bit battered from being carried around in my make-up bag! This particular variation of Lights, Camera, Flashes comes with their bottom lash mascara on the other end of it. I like the smaller wand as it’s far easier to use however it does pick up too much product by far so needs wiping on a tissue to get the excess off before you can go in and apply that one.

Pixi; Full Cover Foundation Brush
Pixi BrushThis has quite short but very densely packed synthetic bristles making it perfect for stippling and buffing in foundations. It works well with both liquids and powders, doesn’t suck up product and waste any and leaves a beautifully natural finish. It’s incredibly well made for the price and is comparable to brushes costing twice the price. This is definitely a firm addition to my favourites!

Max Factor; Lipfinity lipstick in ‘Eternally Luscious’
mflipfinityThis is a beautiful warm purple shade and is a recent discovery of mine – I had no idea any of the big name high street brands did a purple lippie at all!
This is very comfortable to wear but not completely opaque without a lip liner – something Max Factor don’t seem to provide, or at least I couldn’t find one to match on the stand.

And last but certainly not least;

Rosie For Autograph; Insta-Glow in ‘Summer Sunrise’
Summer SunriseI’m not going to talk too much about this little beauty of a highlighter right now because I have a full
review coming up of both it and it’s sister so do look out for that this coming week!

Update: You can find the full review for Insta-Glow here.

What have your favourite beauty products been this month? Have you discovered anything new?

  1. That Tarte palette looks gorgeous! The Pixi brush sounds nice. I’ve been wanting to try their brushes.

    1. I really do love the brush, I’ve used it every day since I got it except when it’s been in the wash! I must check out some of their other brushes too.

Do let me know your thoughts!
