I can’t believe that the school year is nearly over. I have three assessments left to complete and then I’ll be finished up on my college course and ready for the next steps which I hope to know more about and be able to share with you all very soon. Yes, plans are afoot!
I plan to spend the summer gaining more experience (practice, practice, practice is the name of the game!) Sculpting with clay to improve those skills and doing any day courses I can find as well as catching up with my friends. I also hope to have a little more time to spend here doing some blogging as I know I’ve been a little distracted of late.
While I’m here, just a quick reminder to enter my giveaway over on the Nip + Fab Haul/Review post in case you haven’t already. It’s super easy to sign up to subscribe to the blog and then you can get two more chances by visiting me on Facebook or following me on Instagram. Good luck to all who have entered!
What are your plans for the summer? Are there any products you really want me to review here on Bendy Beauty? Let me know in the comments or on Facebook/Twitter,
I’m a little out of breath after such a long title! It’s pretty exciting stuff though, popular skincare brand Nip + Fab have released a make-up collection!
Naturally, as soon as I was well enough and able to pop down the shops and bag me some of their goodies I did so. I wanted to buy the foundation in person rather than online so I could choose the right shade for me. This is something I always recommend doing if possible. If necessary take a tiny pot with you to put a pump of the tester in to take away and try in daylight.
In my Nip + Fab haul were foundation, matching concealer, the eyeshadow palette, and travel palette. I received a gift with my purchase of a little cosmetics pouch with a liquid lipstick, lip liner and mascara inside. I have another one of these pouches to give away so keep reading to the end to find out how you can win it for yourself. Continue reading
On a rainy Saturday afternoon in Bolton the lovely girls at Urban Decay put on a bit of a party. What for? To celebrate the release of the Jean-Michel Basquiat collection.
There was food and drink, make-overs, glitter, a DJ, a raffle and of course a demonstration showing talking through who Jean-Michel was, the collection and demonstrating it in use.
I got to play will all parts of the collection not just the products I purchased so I’m going to share with you full swatches and some pictures from the day. Continue reading
I’m coming to the end of my third bottle of this stuff now so I figured it’s really about time I told you all how much I love it!
It’s full title is Rose Hydrate Miracle Makeover Facial Oil. What a mouthful!
This oil is great before a cream cleanser for those who wear make-up daily. It’s also good for those who enjoy facial massage as well as being a gentle first cleanse for people who like to double cleanse.
It is quite a versatile oil I find, as well as feeling like a real pamper with it’s beautiful rose damask fragrance. Continue reading
Something I come across quite often is the confusion between setting and finishing. What they mean, what the products do and how to use them.
If you were to reach into your make-up bag right now, chances are there’s a powder of some kind, right?
Be it loose or pressed, labelled as setting or finishing you’ll definitely own at least one of the critters.
Powder is one of the oldest forms of face make-up and we still use it by the ton even today, but now there are more options to choose from than ever before. Naturally, it’s easy to get a bit overtaken by it all! I’m going to set out the differences between the two types of product. Continue reading
