I’m a little out of breath after such a long title! It’s pretty exciting stuff though, popular skincare brand Nip + Fab have released a make-up collection!
Naturally, as soon as I was well enough and able to pop down the shops and bag me some of their goodies I did so. I wanted to buy the foundation in person rather than online so I could choose the right shade for me. This is something I always recommend doing if possible. If necessary take a tiny pot with you to put a pump of the tester in to take away and try in daylight.
In my Nip + Fab haul were foundation, matching concealer, the eyeshadow palette, and travel palette. I received a gift with my purchase of a little cosmetics pouch with a liquid lipstick, lip liner and mascara inside. I have another one of these pouches to give away so keep reading to the end to find out how you can win it for yourself. Continue reading
This ‘Feline Fancy’ palette and lipstick set was a limited edition released in the US for Valentines day. It took a while to reach UK stockists so I only got it this month!
I was surprised to find that even though these are red/pink shades they are all 100% vegan as well as the usual cruelty free you expect from Sugarpill. Sugarpill shadows are made in the USA and these 4 pans are 1.45g each the lipstick is 5.4ml. Continue reading

It comes with a fairly comprehensive guide sheet showing a technique for contouring 6 different eye shapes. It explains which shades work best as brow powders for each hair colour and goes through 5 different brow shapes too. Continue reading
It’s the beginning of September! Hooray! I’m back in college next week and can’t wait. I’ve been sorting out my make-up into easy to pick up kit bags. That way I can pick up what ever I’ll need for the day more easily but I’ll do a separate post on that later.
Right now it’s all about the things I loved in the lovely month of August! Continue reading

Those days of pale and often shimmery lipstick with dark brown lip lines are (mostly) long behind us now but for many they still linger in the backs of their minds, leaving them with an unneeded fear of lip liner.
Properly matched and applied, a lip liner can add definition, correct the shape and if necessary change the size of the mouth, make the mouth appear more symmetrical, prevent lipstick feathering and even increase the longevity of your lipstick product meaning fewer touch ups are needed throughout the day.
